KaizenCV vs Rezi
Rezi is an AI resume builder built around the Rezi Score, which it says evaluates a resume on 23 key metrics, and AI Keyword Targeting for a specific job description. It also offers an AI Resume Agent you chat with, a cover letter writer, AI interview practice, a Chrome extension that autofills applications, and a one-time Lifetime plan.
Rezi is best if you want a one-time Lifetime payment, a monthly human resume review on Pro, or resume AI in languages such as Spanish, German or Hindi. KaizenCV is best if you want an AI career coach for your resume and cover letter, a live ATS score and tracker on the free plan, and a Danish interface.

Two ways to work with AI on your application
Both products let you chat with an AI instead of filling in forms. Rezi’s AI Resume Agent works through a single conversation: paste a job description and it rewrites your resume to match, gives you a Rezi Score with a prioritised list of fixes, weaves in missing keywords, and writes summaries and bullets. Rezi says the same conversation can search openings sourced from company ATS systems and tailor your resume to one.
KaizenCV’s AI career coach works on whichever documents you attach to the chat — a resume, a cover letter or a job description — and proposes each edit as a change you apply or skip, showing the ATS points it adds; applied changes can be undone. The scoring differs too. Rezi Score judges resume strength on its 23 metrics, and its real-time content analysis checks things like filler words, weak bullets and whether bullets are quantified. KaizenCV’s ATS score updates while you edit on every plan, with rule-based fixes that apply in one click; Pro adds scoring against the specific posting you pasted, and AI fixes.
Where each free plan stops
Rezi’s free plan needs no card. Its pricing page lists 1 resume, 1 AI interview, 3 PDF downloads, the standard format templates, the AI resume writer and editor, and limited access to the Rezi Score, AI Keyword Targeting and content analysis. Rezi’s FAQ adds that free users can create unlimited cover letters and resignation letters.
KaizenCV’s free plan has unlimited resume and cover letter drafts, the live ATS score, 5 resume and 5 cover letter templates, the application tracker and a small monthly AI allowance for coach messages, builder rewrites and generated documents. The honest trade-off: KaizenCV’s free plan has no PDF or Word download, only a plain-text export, while Rezi’s gives you three PDF downloads. If you need one finished PDF today without paying, Rezi’s free plan covers that. The free tools at /free-tools, including the ATS score checker and LinkedIn profile review, run without an account.
Paying monthly, yearly or once
Rezi Pro is $29 a month and includes unlimited resumes, AI interviews and PDF downloads, all templates, and one expert resume review a month by a person. The Lifetime plan is a one-time $149 for permanent access to Pro features; Rezi’s FAQ says it does not include the free monthly expert review, which can be bought separately. Enterprise, for universities, agencies and career sites, is $99 a month per 200 users. Rezi lists a 30-day money-back guarantee on Pro and Lifetime.
KaizenCV Pro is $24.95 a month, $49.95 a quarter or $119.95 a year in US dollars, with prices in Danish kroner and euros where you are billed in those currencies, all excluding VAT. Pro includes all 25 templates, PDF and Word export, scoring against a job posting, AI fixes, and enough AI to tailor a resume and cover letter for up to 125 jobs a month. There is no lifetime option and no human review. When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your documents remain on the free plan.
